Drop Off and Pick Up or Donate Your Items

Dropping Off Your Items

We want to make your experience as easy and pleasant as possible. Consignors must utilize the CHECK-IN feature on their consignor account to select a specified day and time to drop-off items before the sale.

  • Please have a copy of the inventory sheet and a self-addressed stamped envelope. If you have more than 200 pieces to consign, please contact us directly to schedule a private drop-off appointment.
  • When you drop off your items, everything will be inspected before being accepted to the sale. "No Thank you" items will be removed from your inventory sheet and the sheet initialed by both the consignor and sale representative. Allow enough time in your schedule for our screening process.
  • You will turn in your inventory sheets when you drop off your items. You will not get these back and we will not be able to send you a copy. Please make a copy prior to drop-off if you want to keep it for your records.
  • During inspection, you will be directed to the sign-in table where you will be asked to read and sign a waiver and indicate whether or not your unsold items will be donated to our charity, Hanover County Safe Place. Donated items will not be retrievable once Hanover County Safe Place takes possession!

Items to remember to bring with you at drop-off

  • Inventory sheet
  • Self-addressed stamped envelope
  • Tools needed to assemble any equipment or furniture your are consigning (Consignors will be required to assemble any equipment or furniture consigned).

Once your items are approved at drop off, we will take it from there! We will advertise the sale and sell your items while you can wait at home for your check to arrive in the mail (within 30 days). At this point, you are DONE, unless you are picking up your unsold items on Sunday after the event.

Donating or Picking Up Your Items After the Sale

Please arrive to pickup your unsold items Sunday afternoon of the sale from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. It will be up to you to collect all of your unsold merchandise. It is up to you to ensure your items are picked up. If you are not able to pick up your items, please let the person you send in your place know that we will ask for your full name, your consignor number and their I.D. Please be certain to pick up your unsold items. We will have to donate any unsold items if they are left behind. You will not be able to retrieve your items after this time.  We will have to vacate the venue after the final pickup time. Items not picked up by 7 PM Sunday will be donated that night. NO EXCEPTIONS!

For the safety of Hanover Safe Place's clients and staff, consignors are prohibited from contacting Hanover Safe Place directly regarding items donated from the Tickles and Giggles Children's Consignment sale.
